What has been said ahead of the game?

Chelsea could see Jorginho return from a foot problem after he trained on Friday at the Blues' Cobham training base. With the mounting injury problems, the Italian's return will be welcomed in the north east.

"Jorgi trained today, so provided there's no reaction, he should be in the squad," said Potter on Friday ahead of the Premier League clash.

The visitors are aiming to win their first league game in five - drawing and losing two of their previous four - but come up against the Toon who will be wanting to continue their winning run heading into the World Cup break.

Potter admitted: "That's what we'll try to do (end positively before World Cup). We know Newcastle will want to do as well. It will be a tough match, but we will try our best."

He added: "They've got results and got results deservedly. That builds confidence and momentum."
