Newcastle United ask to be kept informed of situation surrounding Chelsea attackers

Newcastle United have asked to be kept informed of the situations surrounding four Chelsea players this summer, according to reports.

Newcastle United have asked to be kept informed of the situations surrounding Chelsea’s attackers this summer, according to reports.

The Blues could let several of their players leave the club before the end of the transfer window, with many set for loan moves away from the side.

Callum Hudson-Odoi has been subject of interest from the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Leicester City, Southampton and Newcastle United.

Conor Gallagher is also attracting Premier League interest with the likes of Everton, Crystal Palace and West Ham United linked with a move for the midfielder, who enjoyed a successful spell at Selhurst Park last season.

Armando Broja also enjoyed a loan spell in the Premier League, impressing for Southampton as he appears to now be part of Thomas Tuchel’s first team squad, despite heavy interest in him.

The aforementioned players, along with Christian Pulisic, are now attracting interest from Newcastle if reports are to be believed.

According to Luke Edwards of The Telegraph, Eddie Howe’s side are interested in the Chelsea quartet.

The Magpies are said to have asked to be kept informed about the players, who could be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

Newcastle have asked about moves for Gallagher, Hudson-Odoi, Pulisic and Broja, thinking that the Blues could opt to loan one of the attackers.

Their longstanding interest in Broja makes him a top target for the club, but they do not have the money to do multiple permanent deals so will seek loans.

Therefore they have asked to be kept informed about the players if they are to be allowed to leave Chelsea before the end of the transfer window.

This comes as Chelsea step up their interest in Everton winger Anthony Gordon this summer.

A new £45 million bid has been rejected for the 21-year-old, with Frank Lampard hoping to keep hold of the youngster.

With Timo Werner joining RB Leipzig on a permanent deal, Chelsea are in the market for an attacker despite already signing Raheem Sterling.

The Blues missed out on Raphinha earlier in the window and Tuchel is keen to add to his attack.

If Gordon arrives, the Blues could allow another attacker to leave on loan and Newcastle could provide a perfect home for the season for one of the players.

Chelsea have also been heavily linked with a move for Pierre-Emerick Aubamayeng, and a deal for the Gabon international may see Broja freed to leave for another season, with Newcastle waiting to be informed if the situation around any of the players changes this summer.
