Tim Tebow was named the greatest college football quarterback of all time by American outlet Sporting News.
The 32-year-old never quite made it in the NFL, but his college football record was second to none.
Tebow led the Florida Gators to national championship glory in 2008 during three dominant years as their quarterback.

He was a first-round draft pick by the Denver Broncos in 2010 but, despite flashes and moments of 'Tebow Time' magic, he never nailed down the starting position.
Tebow will always be remembered as a college football legend, though, and was ranked the best ever quarterback by Sporting News.
He beat Peyton Manning, arguably the best quarterback the NFL has ever seen, to top spot in the rankings.

Manning never won the Heisman Trophy or guided Tennessee to the national championship, but he threw for 11,201 yards and 89 touchdowns.
He went on to put up some even more mind-boggling numbers during a stellar NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos.
USC superstar Matt Leinart rounded out the top three. He led Pete Carroll's Trojans to two national championship runs and won the Heisman Trophy in 2004.
Nebraska hero Tommie Frazier and Texas legend Vince Young rounded out the top five of Sporting News' list.

Clemson's Deshaun Watson, who currently plays for the Houston Texans in the NFL, came in at No 6.
Roger Staubach, Doug Flutie, John Elway and Sammy Baugh rounded out the top 10 of the list.
There was no look in for modern-day NFL legends such as Tom Brady or Drew Brees.
