Incredible simulation shows speed comparison between Usain Bolt, an average human and a cheetah

Usain Bolt remains the fastest man on earth over 100 metres.

An incredible simulation pits eight-time Olympic Gold medalist Usain Bolt against an average human and cheetah.

Bolt is still the fastest man on earth over 100 metres, having ran the race in 9.58 at the World Athletics Championships in 2009.

His previous best was 9.69 until he bested it in Berlin. In that same sprint, the Jamaican recorded an insane top speed of 27.8mph [44.72 km/h].

The average person would typically take around 15 seconds to cover such a distance and so 'Reigarw Comparisons' decided to see how' a race would pan out.

And they inserted a cheetah into the mix as well because, why not?

The 3D simulation, which looks like something from a video game in the 1990s, sees us have the view of the human and the distance between the other two is monumental.

Bolt clocks in at his world-record time of 9.58 - the number he wears on the back of his shirt every time he plays at Soccer Aid.

Make no mistake about it, that time is absolutely rapid. But then, a cheetah is able to sprint in an insane 5.65 seconds.

The fastest animal has a frightening top speed of 75mph (120kmh) and finishes the race just short of four seconds quicker than Bolt.

Another simulation from the Speed Showdown channel includes an average person called Robert Smith getting dusted by Bolt, while the page also got creative and put the 38-year-old up against Kylian Mbappe.

One of the fastest footballers around, he once ran the length of the pitch in 11 seconds and clocked a top speed of 22.4mph.

His fastest ever speed of 23.6mph [38km/h] was taken into account for this hypothetical race, where Mbappe was overtaken by Bolt early on and left behind.

Bolt has admitted, however, that he believes Manchester United star Marcus Rashford would get the better of him over 20 yards.

Replying to Darren Bent on talkSPORT: "Yeah! Rashford is quick out the blocks, that is what he does. He has that burst of speed but after that, I told him, you could probably get me in 20 [yards]. But after that, it is over!"
