Brock Jarvis has one helluva chin.

The Australian boxer kept his perfect undefeated record in tact, securing a massive come-from-behind victory in his United States debut - but the win didn't come without its drama.

Jarvis survived a huge scare early in his fight, getting rocked pretty badly by opponent Alejandro Frias.

After an initial back-and-forth exchange, the tide turned in Frias' favour as he unloaded a barrage of punches in Jarvis' direction.

"Jarvis up against the ropes...this is a disaster for the Australian," DAZN commentator Todd Grisham said.

"He's got to get out of there. What an upset this would be. Jarvis has never been in this kind of trouble before.

"This is incredible. They didn't even list odds for this fight in Las Vegas."

Showing incredible guts and determination, the Aussie desperately held on and miraculously survived the round.

But if surviving Frias' bombardment wasn't impressive enough, Jarvis then decided to take the bout by the scruff of the neck by stopping his rival just a few rounds later.

Fans and boxing experts alike heaped praise on Jarvis for his remarkable turnaround - respected promoter Eddie Hearn being one of them.

"What a f**king fight here," Hearn tweeted.

"Ref could have let Rodriguez continue but he was done and took 3 consecutive rounds of beating... cracking fight. Brock is going to be in some crackers!"

Elsewhere, Ben Damon tweeted: "Just spoke to Jeff Fenech who says Eddie Hearn wants Brock Jarvis to stay in the US to fight on the (Teofimo) Lopez vs (George) Kambosos Jr undercard. Alejandro Frias Rodriguez's team have asked for a rematch and (Jeff) Fenech/Jarvis are happy to do it if that's what Matchroom decides."
