Donald Trump calling out Joe Biden for a boxing match, who would have thought?

That's 2021 for you, folks.

Trump may have lost the presidential election to Biden, but he reckons he'd definitely have the upper hand if the two were to ever step foot inside a ring.

The former US president says he'd happily take on Biden in a boxing match and insists he'd knock his arch-rival down "within the first few seconds".

In a strange turn of events, Trump was recently announced as the guest commentator for Evander Holyfield's comeback bout against Vitor Belfort.

During the pre-fight press conference hosted by promoters Triller, Trump was dialled in on the phone to give his take on the event and answer question from the public

But when asked by a reporter who his dream fight would be against, Trump instantly knew the answer.

"Well if I had to pick somebody in the world, not only a professional boxer because I'll take a pass on the professional boxers, I think probably my easiest fight would be Joe Biden because I think he'd go down very, very quickly. Very, very quickly," he said.

"He'd be in big trouble. I think Biden would go down within the first few seconds."

Given the history between Trump and Biden, it's safe to say that pay-per-view numbers would go through the roof if the two rivals were to ever throw hands in a boxing match.

One can only dream, right?
