Eddie Hearn has brutally shut down Jake Paul's dreams of being a boxing world champion someday.
Respected boxing promoter Hearn said he "doesn't think" the trash-talking YouTuber has it in him to go all the way in the sport, despite the promising start to his career.
The two men were in the talkSPORT studio to promote arguably the biggest women's boxing match in history involving the undefeated Katie Taylor and American challenger Amanda Serrano.

The undisputed title fight looks set to do big numbers with thousands expected to tune in.
But while Hearn and Paul were eager to discuss the bout with talkSPORT hosts Laura Woods and Ally McCoist, the topic of conversation quickly turned to the YouTuber-turned-boxer.
Questioned whether he was going to fight an "out-and-out boxer", Paul replied: "I was ready to fight a pro boxer [Tommy Fury], I had a poster up in my gym from Eddie that says 'when are you going to fight a real boxer?' that I look at it everyday when I'm training because he was one of the first to say it.

"It's only been two years since my professional debut and I have continued to increase my level of opposition and continued to prove people wrong.
"I have a long way to go. I know I can become a world champion because I spar against world champions and I have great coaches and an amazing team around me. I have a giant chip on both shoulders to prove everyone wrong and I am going to just for fun."
Woods then handed Hearn the floor, asking him simply: "Eddie, could he become world champion?"

To which Hearn quickly replied: "I don't think so."
It may have been the truth, but that didn't take away from the sheer savage nature of the response.
Even Woods struggled to contain her laughter as she let out a giggle under her breath, which Paul appeared to pick up on.
"He likes proving people wrong not gonna lie," Hearn continued.
"But there are so many great fighters out there and the problem is with Jake is that he has a wrestling background so he has spent time in combat.

"But he doesn't have a boxing background and it is no disrespect to Jake you can't just turn to boxing and become world champion, but he will of course try to prove us wrong."
Paul wasn't having a var of it though, firing right back at his co-promoter.
"I think boxers are easier to fight than MMA fighters," he said.
"They are more predictable and they don't hit as hard. And the can't take as big of a punch."
