We all know Jake Paul is a savage on social media.

Well, now the trash-talking YouTuber-cum-boxer has turned his attention from Tommy Fury to Teofimo Lopez.

Paul has never shied away from calling out every man and his dog online and now it's Lopez's turn to get a serving.

Lopez suffered his firs professional defeat at the hands of Australian fan favourite George Kambosos Jr over the weekend, losing all of his lightweight belts in the process.

To the naked eye, it was clear that Kambosos Jr was the worthy winner - but Lopez clearly didn't see it that way.

While Kambosos Jr was conducting his post-fight interview, Lopez rudely interrupted to claim that he was robbed and that he was actually victorious.

"He's a hell of a fighter, but I won tonight, everybody knows that," he said.

"The referee raised my hand. I won tonight, I don't care what anybody says. I want to thank everybody that came out tonight, look, I ain't no sore loser, I take my wins like I take my losses.

"At the end of the day I'm a true champion, I did what I had to do, and I went out there and did my best. I don't care what anybody says, I am as real as they come, and this is the takeover man, we don't stop, we keep coming.

The chorus of boos which rang out around Madison Square Garden once these words came out of his mouth was probably a good indication of how the spectators felt.

And on social media, fans were quick to slate Lopez for his deluded statements - Jake Paul being one of them.

Paul posted a picture on his Instagram story showing Lopez on the canvas with a speech bubble over his head saying "I'm definitely winning this fight."

He wasn't done there though.

He then posted an image of a black leather belt on sale at Walmart, captioning it: "@teofimolopez since George took all your belts I found this one for you that's super nice and affordable."

But this beef didn't just come out of thin air.

It seems there's some deep-seated issues between the two blokes, stemming from comments made by Lopez aimed in Jake and Logan Paul's direction.

"Stop this YouTuber Boxing," he said on social media back in February.

"Stop diminishing the sport that we've worked so hard for! S*** not sweet."

Jake, clearly not willing to forgive and forget, has now referenced these past quotes in his latest roasting of Lopez online.

"Karmas a b***h and I got time today," Paul said on Instagram accompanied with a screenshot of some news articles.
