UFC fan favourite Nate Diaz fired off a single tweet during Jake Paul's boxing match against Tyron Woodley and it instantly went viral.

With boos and jeers ringing around Cleveland's Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse midway through the fight, it looked like we were going to be in for a long night.

Former UFC champ Woodley was failing to fire and Paul looked very conservative to start with.

If you were looking for a way to sum up the first few rounds of the bout, Nate Diaz was on hand to provide it.

"These guys both suck," Diaz tweeted.

The brutally-honest statement circulated around social media and has already generated over 60,000 likes and 12,000 retweets on Twitter alone.

In typical Diaz fashion, he just kept it real.

Fans on social media were onboard with it, many rushing to the comments section of Diaz's tweet to agree with him.

And to be fair, Nate is spot on.

Until the fourth round, when Woodley landed that sickening left hook on Paul's temple which wobbled him, the bout was pretty ordinary.

One bloke replied: "Jake was gassed after 4 round. Why did Woodley hold back?"

While another said: "It's obvious that Woodley cannot box but this fight should remind everyone what a joke Jake Paul is. Any real boxer would end him."

And a third added: "You don't watch Woodley fights, do you?"

Elsewhere, another social media user made a pretty good argument.

"You're still watching champ," the person commented.

Nate Diaz wasn't the only big-name star to have his say on the matter either.

Former dual-division UFC champion and respected commentator Daniel Cormier chimed in, saying: "Think about this... we're in round 7 and Jake Paul is winning a decision over Tyron Woodley. Crazy."

While American sports analyst Colin Cowherd tweeted: "Haters gonna hate but Jake Paul is worth paying to watch."
