The sheer sound of it!

Heading into the bout, George Kambosos Jr was quick to admit that his resume wasn't a true reflection of his power.

Well, now everyone knows exactly what he was talking about.

The Aussie completely outclassed Teofimo Lopez to be crowned unified lightweight champion of the world in what will perhaps go down as one of the biggest wins in Australian boxing history.

It was a brilliant outing, with Kambosos Jr's stats far outweighing that of his opponent's.

But it was a moment of complete and utter brilliance in the very first round which really sent the boxing world into a frenzy - and a fresh angle proves just how important it was.

Having predicted a first round knockout, Lopez came out of the gates all guns blazing and charged forward looking for the killer blow.

Withstanding this, and even taking a few blows to the chin himself in the process, Kambosos Jr waited patiently for the perfect chance to land a counter strike.

With Lopez swinging for the fences, Kambosos Jr bobbed and weaved out fo the way and managed to catch his rival with a perfectly-timed overhand right.

It landed flush on Lopez temple, sending him crashing to the canvas and looking pretty perplexed.

Not only but it clearly wobble Lopez, but the knockdown also sent an early message that Kambosos Jr meant business.

On the broadcast, you could see just how brutal the punch was, although a new angle has now surfaced and it's absolutely fascinating.

In the previously-unseen ringside footage, the sheer sound of glove to skull is brutal.

But perhaps one of the most interesting parts of the clip isn't how Lopez reacts, but how Kambosos Jr returns to his corners and stares his opponent down like a man possessed.

Imagine getting knocked down and then seeing your rival jogging on the spot and raring to get his hands on you once again.

Scary.

In the end, Lopez ended up securing a knockdown of his own late on, but it wasn't enough as the Aussie walked away from Madison Square Garden with every lightweight belt wrapped round his waist.
