Carli Lloyd has been forced to quit Twitter after facing serious backlash for heavily criticising a delivery driver.
The former footballer recently took to social media to slam FedEx, taking aim at her delivery driver for not putting her parcels in a place where they wouldn't get wet.
"Ringing in the new year with soaked ruined packages," Lloyd tweeted.

"Guess the extra five steps from our @FedEx driver to place under the covered section of the porch was a hard task to endure.
"#noonecaresabouttheirjobanymore."
She then attached a photograph of the various packages sitting on her doorstep.

But if Lloyd was hoping her vent was going to receive some support, she's be sadly mistaken.
Instead of backing her, Twitter users turned on Lloyd and slammed her for complaining about her wet parcels.
Some called the USWNT legend "entitled" and "petty", while others suggested that the delivery driver working on the weekend was perhaps underpaid.
After copping some pretty heavy backlash, Lloyd eventually deleted the tweet before quitting Twitter too.

"Bye Twitter," she wrote.
"I usually know better than to come on here amongst the warriors!"
Then, less than 24 hours later, she officially un-retired from Twitter.
She tweeted: Was saying bye for the day... you guys really thought you could get under my skin that bad. If that was the case I would have left 10 years ago."
