Khabib Nurmagomedov has vowed to beat Jake Paul within a "couple of minutes" if the two were to face off in an MMA bout.

After KO'ing former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in their boxing match, trash-talking YouTuber Paul has basically called out every name under the sun.

From past legends like Mike Tyson to the current crop of combat sports stars like Conor McGregor and Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, Paul certainly hasn't shied away from throwing his name in the hat to fight the very best in the business.

But one bloke who he's had his eye on for quite some time now goes by the name of Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The former UFC lightweight champ is widely regarded as one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all-time.

And after hearing his name called out by Paul on a number of occasions, the Russian fan favourite has finally decided to respond.

"Come on, come on Jake Paul, I don't think so. In MMA, [I'll win in] like a couple of minutes," Khabib told the FULL SEND PODCAST.

"What do you think? He can fight with me. He's a little bit too late.

"I watch a sparring or some video were he did MMA with someone, he has to learn a lot.

"Boxing, he knows how to punch. His boxing game is not bad, but wrestling is completely different.

"If he wants to fight in MMA, we can give him chance. We can sign him [to Eagle FC] and we can pay him. We'll see.

A few months back, Khabib invited Paul to join his new promotion Eagle FC.

"The doors of Eagle Fight Club always open for you and your team," he said via social media.

To which Paul replied: "Deal. Only if I fight you first."

With Khabib refusing to come out of retirement for a number of mega-money big-name fights in MMA, it's highly unlikely that he'd finally roll over for mere YouTuber.
