Derrick Lewis has knocked out a thief after he tried to break into his SUV, later taking to social media to share his side of the wild story.

The MMA fan favourite, who is tipped to fight Francis Ngannou next for the UFC heavyweight title, uploaded photos and videos of the incident to his Instagram page.
In one picture, you cans see the sheepish suspect being carted away in handcuffs by local Houston police.
"Mofo pick right/wrong car to break into. HE'S OK," one of the captions read."
Lewis added: "Motherf**ker tried to break into my s**t."

The 260-pound man mountain then posted a picture of his closed fist with the caption: "Satisfaction."
According to MMA Fighting, Lewis was approaching his car after a workout when he heard a banging noise coming from the driver's side of the vehicle.
When he saw the man using a screwdriver trying to get into the vehicle, it's understood Lewis acted quickly and apprehended him.

"Mr. Lewis says he went over to the suspect, struck him, placed him onto the ground until the police arrived," public information officer for the Houston Police Department Jodi Silva said.
"That's the nicest way to put it."
The alleged thief is now facing criminal charges for his action.

He'll undoubtedly be licking his wounds, not only for his embarrassing failure at crime, but also because he took a public beating from one of the baddest humans on the planet.
