Michael Bisping 'Laughed And Walked Off' After Being Assaulted In The Street

The former UFC champ is cut from a different cloth...

Michael Bisping is a different breed of human being.

The former UFC middleweight champion was reportedly assaulted in the street, but instead of fighting back or even taking flight he simply laughed and walked off.

Mental.

Michael Bisping.

It's understood Bisping was randomly attacked by a man over a disagreement about the MMA great filming in a New Orleans street.

But according to the Brit, the sucker punch was so soft that he barely felt it and rather than hit the bloke back he just giggled to himself and casually strolled off.

"Was just assaulted," he tweeted.

"Guy got in my face for filming on a public street. I told him to go away and he punched me.

"Was literally so soft I laughed at him.

"So funny that someone that acts so tough hits like such a b***h, I laughed and walked away. Man I'm mature these days."

And when he was asked by fight fans on social media whether it took a lot of inner restraint to not swing back at the bloke, he replied: "I was literally laughing so hard at how pathetic the punch was I don't think I could of hit him."

"I doubt the loser will ever know [who I am] but I thank him for the laughs."

Imagine having the audacity to punch someone in the street for absolutely no reason at all - let alone a former UFC champion.

And even worse, imagine said person laughing in your face after you hit them - savage.

Not only would the bloke probably be feeling pretty embarrassed by now, but he should also be thanking his lucky stars that the usually-quick tempered Bisping was in a good mood.

Even at 42 years of age, you imagine Bisping wouldn't have any trouble holding his own in a street fight with some random guy who woke up fancying a tear up.

The Count hasn't fought professionally since 2018 following his loss to Kelvin Gastelum.

His career path is arguably one of the greatest in mixed martial arts history, first joining the UFC after winning The Ultimate Fighter 3 back in 2006 before waiting and entire decade to clinch the coveted title with a knockout victory over bitter rival Luke Rockhold.

Bisping's fairytale journey will go down in combat sports folklore - all the more reason not to try and start a fight with him.

Wherever that dude is, he's either brave or incredibly stupid.
