Conor McGregor Finally Admits That He'd Love To Be A Guest On Joe Rogan's Podcast

How good would this be!

It would, without doubt, become the most-viewed episode of the Joe Rogan Experience of all-time.

For years people have been calling for Rogan and 'Young Jamie' to get Conor McGregor on their podcast - and they've failed miserably.

But it appears that could be about to change.

After seemingly ducking Rogan's podcast since his mixed martial arts career exploded, it looks like McGregor is now finally interested in making a guest appearance.

When asked by a fan on Twitter whether he'd ever go on Rogan's popular podcast, McGregor replied: "I'd love to! I feel at some stage we should! I've a lot of respect for Joe. He shouted me out before anyone else in the UFC also. Before I had signed with the company."

While Rogan himself has openly spoken about wanting to have McGregor on the podcast, this is actually the first time that the Irishman has admitted he's genuinely keen too.

And even though the episode featuring Elon Musk holds the title for the most views (primarily down to the fact that he smoked weed for the first time live on air), you can probably imagine that McGregor's appearance would surpass those figures.

A number of big-name stars have also appeared on the JRE.

Boxing royalty Mike Tyson produced arguably the most memorable episode when he and Rogan delved into his troublesome childhood, use of psychedelic drugs as well as his decorated career inside the ring.

UFC commentator Rogan has also played host to the likes of Kanye West, Bernie Sanders, David Blaine, Kevin Hart, Danica Patrick, Robert Downey Jr, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Wiz Khalifa, Bob Lazar, Russell Brand, Jamie Foxx, Louis Theroux, Matthew McConaughey and Post Malone to name a few.

But if former UFC dual-division champ McGregor was to make his long-awaited appearance on the JRE, then it'll probably go down as one of the biggest to date.

From his early childhood in Ireland to growing his multi-million-dollar whiskey empire, there's plenty of stories for McGregor to tell from both inside and outside the octagon which will undoubtedly have fans hanging on his every word.

And if you know Rogan, he certainly won't shy away from asking the pressing questions - like, 'why did you punch that old fella at that pub?' or 'why did you throw that dolly at the bus?' or 'would you ever sit down and have a civilised cup of tea with Khabib Nurmagomedov sometime in the future?'

So, if it does happen then expect fireworks.
