The Styrian Grand Prix was marred by a horrific incident which saw a rider stretchered off the track following a huge fireball crash.
With just two laps gone in the race, Spaniard Dani Pedrosa crashed on the same corner where Franco Morbidelli and Johann Zarco almost wiped out Valentino Rossi last season - a part of the course which the riders clearly find tricky.
Not seeing Pedrosa's crash, Italian rider Lorenzo Savadori then went hurtling into his opponent's stray bike which saw him burst into a massive ball of flames when he eventually came to rest.
Thankfully Pedrosa walked away unscathed, although the same couldn't be said for Savadori.

Medical staff sprung into action to give assistance to the Italian star who still laid on the track.
Elsewhere, marshalls worked quickly to try and put out the burning fuel which had now spread across the course.
The race was subsequently red flagged as officials worked tirelessly to clean up the extinguisher fluid before removing any debris.
As for Savadori, he initially made his way onto his feet after the horror collision but was later stretchered off by medical staff and rushed to hospital for further assessment.

Pedrosa, who was making his return to MotoGP after two years as a test rider, dusted himself off and continued on.
The race itself eventually resumed with Jorge Martin of Ducati-Pramac clinching his first MotoGP victory ahead of reigning champion Joan Mir.
It's understood Savadori is alright, although he did sustain a broken right ankle which requires surgery to fix.
