Renee Gracie has taken aim at Supercars, slamming its attitude towards female drivers.

A former Supercars driver herself, Gracie made headlines earlier this year after announcing her retirement from motorsport to pursue a career in the adult film industry.

Since her sudden career-change, the 25-year-old Aussie has become an instant success on OnlyFans and rakes in a reported $500,000 a month.

Gracie has even discussed the prospect of funding her own Supercars race team through her OnlyFans earnings.

It's safe to say the adult film actress has seen her fare share of success since parting ways with Supercars, but that doesn't necessarily mean she thinks too fondly of her former employer.

Gracie has now come out and slammed the Australian-based racing series for its outdated attitudes towards women.

Just hours before Supercars' biggest race of the season, the Bathurst 1000, Gracie publicly accused the sport's governing body of leaning heavily on whole idea that 'sex sells' in order to promote its female drivers.

"For years I raced in development series and Supercars wanted to promote that I was a woman racing," Gracie told The Daily Telegraph.

"I was this 'sex sells' figure. They wanted to benefit from it.

"Now I'm in the industry I am, and I've made the change, they want nothing to do with it.

"It's funny, it's so contradicting because they sold me as a 'sex sells good looking driver' and now I'm in an industry where I make money from my good looks, they want nothing to do with me.

"They claim to promote women. They push it. They want a female so bad, but at the same time, they don't really.

"There are people in Supercars with old school mentalities. It's 2020 some things have to change.

"It's a tough industry for women, and I don't think we will see a female driver for a long time."

Supercars officials are yet to comment on their former employee's remarks.

As for Gracie herself, it's understood she is still keen on the idea of launching her own race team in the future.

But whether the Supercars community welcomes her back with open arms is an entirely different question altogether.

"I don't think they would want me back," Gracie told News Corp last month.

"The pressure I was under in the last couple of years was immense and I don't really want to put myself through that.

"I don't need that pressure because I have a career outside racing now. I will be doing it for enjoyment and fun.

"I want to do it again because now I can do it on my own and I can afford to enjoy it."
