Renee Gracie's bold plans of returning to the track have been shut down by Supercars officials.

Former Supercars driver Gracie was hoping to make her comeback in this year's Bathurst 1000, using her OnlyFans earnings to fund her own vehicle and race team.

But it seems the sport's governing body isn't buying it, branding her move a "publicity stunt".

"She is just using the sport to sell more videos," an official told the Daily Telegraph.

"It is not even worth commenting on because it is not going to happen."

Since walking away from the sport, Gracie has become an instant success in her X-rated adult entertainment career.

The 26-year-old claims she made over $500,000 in her first month while producing content for the popular subscription website.

It's understood she has continued to rake in that sort of money on a regular basis too.

But only last month, she revealed her grand plans to get behind the wheel once again with her sights set firmly on Mount Panorama.

"I am looking to buy my own team. I get offers every second day to go and race in somebody else's car," she told the Sunday Telegraph in August.

"There are lots of opportunities and options keeping the hope and the dream alive, but I would like to do it myself."

Gracie believes her inclusion as a wildcard entry at Baturst 1000 would help revive the sport.

She told News Corp: "I think it is completely possible that I would be considered for a wildcard. I don't think anyone in Australia would be able to generate the interest that I would attract.

"It would be huge. V8s is pretty boring at the moment - I haven't been able to get through an entire race this year. I turn it off after a couple of laps because it is repetitive and not much is going on. The sport was much better four or five years ago in terms of action."

Well, clearly not everyone agrees with Supercars now seemingly barring her from entering again.

Back in October, Gracie publicly slammed her former employer for its attitude towards women, accusing them of leaning heavily on whole idea that 'sex sells' in order to promote female drivers.

"For years I raced in development series and Supercars wanted to promote that I was a woman racing," Gracie told The Daily Telegraph.

"I was this 'sex sells' figure. They wanted to benefit from it.

"Now I'm in the industry I am, and I've made the change, they want nothing to do with it.

"It's funny, it's so contradicting because they sold me as a 'sex sells good looking driver' and now I'm in an industry where I make money from my good looks, they want nothing to do with me.

"They claim to promote women. They push it. They want a female so bad, but at the same time, they don't really.

"There are people in Supercars with old school mentalities. It's 2020 some things have to change.

"It's a tough industry for women, and I don't think we will see a female driver for a long time."
