Tom Brady Roasts Donald Trump During Tamba Bay Buccaneers' Visit To The White House

Tom Brady was in fine form on the microphone as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers visited US president Joe Biden in the White House.

The 43-year-old joined his Bucs teammates in celebrating their Super Bowl victory at the White House, becoming the first NFL team to partake in the age-old tradition since 2017

Seven-time Super Bowl champion Brady stole the show though, making a cheeky joke about former president Donald Trump and his false election claims.

Speaking on the lectern at the foot of those famous steps, Brady began his speech by reminding everyone that his team were actually 7-5 at one point in the season and "not a lot people, you know, think that we could have won. In fact, I think about 40 percent of the people still don't think we won."

Some of the Tampa Bay players giggled in the background, clearly picking up on Brady's reference to Trump false claims of election fraud - allegations that many (mainly Reblicans) still believe to be true to this day."

"You understand that, Mr President?" Brady asked Biden.

Biden then chuckled, adding: "I understand that.

But the quarterback wasn't done there.

"And personally, it's nice for me to be back here," he said.

"We had a game in Chicago where I forgot what down it was. I lost track of one down in 21 years of playing. And they started calling me 'Sleepy Tom'. Why would they do that to me?"

Brady has won the Super Bowl during four different presidential administrations.

Incredibly, he last appeared at a White House Super Bowl event during George W. Bush's presidency way back in 2005.

Since then, he decided to skip visits with the New England Patriots in 2015 when Barack Obama was in office and again in 2017 when Trump was at the helm.
