Despite recently announcing his retirement from football, Tom Brady is still making headlines on the day of the Super Bowl.
The legendary quarterback was on hand to provide some pregame jokes and his hilarious tweet has now gone viral for all the right reasons.
In typical Brady fashion, he had set a routinely reminder on his phone at the start of the season for Super Bowl LVI on February 13 - hoping to make an appearance himself in search of his record eighth ring.

Unfortunately for Brady, he and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers side were eliminated from the Playoffs last month, losing to the Los Angeles Rams who now play hosts to the Cincinnati Bengals in the big dance.
But it seems the 44-year-old forgot to update his calendar notifications.
He posted a screenshot of his phone, showing a reminder that the Super Bowl was kicking off today - except it wasn't involving him.
Brady simply captioned the post: "Sh*t."
The NFL's official account took the opportunity to try and convince Brady to backflip on his retirement call.

"There's always next year," the NFL tweeted back.
The tweet itself instantly went viral, racking up over 280,000 likes in less than six hours.
Despite making his decision official with a bunch of heartfelt thank you statements and social media posts, Brady has said that he would "never say never" about returning to the NFL.

Meanwhile, the Buccs are holding onto that for dear life, reminding the seven-time Super Bowl champion that he's always welcome back if he changes his mind.
"The Buccaneers are leaving the door open for Tom Brady in case the legendary quarterback changes his mind on retirement, and sources say they would do whatever is necessary for him to return - a possibility Brady himself isn't completely ruling out," a report from Ian Rapoport reads.
