'F**k Me You Dumb C**t': Clint Gutherson Unloads On Parramatta Eels Teammate In All-Time Spray

Gutho was NOT happy.

Clint Gutherson was left absolutely fuming after his Parramatta Eels teammate Tom Opacic gave away a needless penalty against the Sydney Roosters.

And boy, Gutho let him know about it.

As Roosters half Sam Walker went to rocket the ball into the air, Eels skipper Gutherson had positioned himself brilliantly to receive the kick right in the bread basket.

Refusing to let the ball leave his sight, Gutho never lost track of it and ended up taking a great catch to relieve some pressure for the Eels whose back were well and truly against the wall having conceded 18 points and scored none themselves..

He even beat Roosters man mountain Daniel Tupou while contesting for the catch.

But just as Gutherson was preparing to play the ball after the contact from Tri-Colours kick chasers, the referee suddenly blew the whistle.

He awarded a penalty to the Roosters after Eels star Opacic blatantly took out one of the Roosters' kick chasers well off the ball.

Gutherson was livid.

"Tommy, leave that," he yelled.

"F**k me, you dumb c**t!"

The extremely heated and rather one-sided exchange perhaps summed up the Eels' frustrations as the former NRL table toppers ended up losing 28-0.

With two losses on the trot, they're now down in fourth place on the NRL ladder - a big drop off from a few weeks ago when they were battling it out with the Penrith Panthers for top spot.

NRL great and former Sydney Roosters player Sonny Bill Williams reckons head coach Brad Arthur needs to make some changes if Parra stand any chance of stringing together a decent Finals run.

"You can take it one of two ways as a player - you can either put your head down and lose confidence or you can look at it like a positive [and say] 'We were at our worst tonight, what are we going to do to correct that?'," he said after the game.

"To be fair, tonight they did lose the leader of their pack in [Reagan] Campbell-Gillard nice and early.

"For me, they lacked a little bit of spark once they got down to the Roosters' end.

"Arthur needs to have a good look at what he wants to do combination-wise because with them playing the style they did tonight, I don't see them going too far in the finals."

The Eels now face the South Sydney Rabbitohs next week and a win would put them level on points with Wayne Bennett's boys.
