An NRL club has managed to lock down the services of one of the baddest humans on the planet.
That's right, Alexander Volkanovski has conquered the cage and now fancies doing the same on the footy field - well, sort of.
Volkanosvki won't be taking hit-ups like he did during his time with the Warilla Gorillas, but will instead join the St George Illawarra Dragons' coaching staff.

The UFC featherweight champ and his trainer Joe Lopez have been recruited by Dragons head coach Anthony Griffin for the upcoming 2022 NRL season.
According to News Corp, Volkanovski and Lopez will work with the playing squad on tackle technique, wrestling and conditioning.
Interestingly, this isn't the first time an NRL team has turned to a mixed martial artist for some added training tips.

Recently-crowned Premiers the Penrith Panthers worked closely former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker over the past season, while the Newcastle Knights recently unveiled retired light heavyweight James Te Huna as a coach.
For Volkanovski, rugby league has always been a big part of his life.
The 33-year-old has spoken openly about his love for the game and used be a bulldozing prop back in his playing days.
