2024 is going to be one hell of a year for the NRL.
While it’s exciting every time we take a trip around the sun to see what the next year of rugby league will bring, 2024 is going to be very different.
For the first time in the League’s history, there will be a series of Premiership games played in the United States.

Las Vegas is set to host a season-opening double-header on March 2 and it looks like there will be loads of fans filling Allegiant Stadium for the games.
More than 20,000 tickets have already been sold to fans who are eager to see the South Sydney Rabbitohs take on the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, as well as the Sydney Roosters play the Brisbane Broncos.
A player from each team recently visited Sin City, Salt Lake City and Los Angeles to promote the epic day of sport. Spencer Leniu (Roosters), Campbell Graham (Rabbitohs), Billy Walters (Broncos) and Aaron Woods (Sea Eagles) experienced their first ever Raiders NFL game and even got to soak up a tailgating party.

The season-opener matches next year are part of a wider plan to export rugby league to countries around the world.
The NRL has signed a five-year deal that will see 10 matches played in the US to keep the good times rolling.
They have also entered into a first-of-its-kind partnership with UFC that will see joint marketing activities to reinforce the strong and natural crossover between the two sports.
Additionally, the League will host a talent combine and Rugby League Vegas Nines grassroots tournament the week leading up to the March 2024 matches for both men and women.
