Caleb Clarke looks destined for greatness.

The 21-year-old winger, who is the son of former New Zealand international Eroni Clarke, has been dubbed 'the next Jonah Lomu' - and the Australian defence found out exactly why.

Clarke made his first start for the All Blacks in their 27-7 demolition job on the Wallabies in the second Bledisloe Cup Test at Eden Park.

And while the 107kg wrecking ball was unable to get over the line and onto the scoresheet, let's just say he left a lasting impression on those watching from around the world.

One play in particular saw every fan inside Eden Park rise to their feet - even us bitter Aussies.

And one passionate All Blacks supporter in particular was so impressed (or concerned) that they ended up reaching out to Crime Stoppers for help.

"I've just witnessed a guy run over a bunch of tourists," the fan said in a text message to Crime Stoppers.

Some skeptics immediately questioned whether the message exchange was legitimate after a screenshot of the texts was posted on Reddit.

Either way, rugby fans are certainly talking about young Caleb Clarke.

The All Blacks winger's blistering speed and direct running style has seen him receive glowing praise from some of the game's biggest names.

The hype surrounding the latest player to pull on the number 11 jersey for New Zealand is real.

And when the team travels to Sydney to take on the Wallabies at ANZ Stadium on October 31, you can guarantee Clarke will be one of the first names on Kiwi head coach Ian Foster's team sheet.
