Anderson Silva agrees to start a united fighters association with Jake Paul if the YouTuber wins boxing match

Anderson Silva agrees to start a united fighters association with Jake Paul if the YouTuber wins boxing match

The internet sensation decided to propose a bet to the MMA star in which he stated if Silva wins he will face him in a kickboxing fight.

Jake Paul and Anderson Silva have thrown in some increased stakes to their upcoming big-money boxing matchup.

The pair squared off at the pre-fight press conference when Jake Paul decided to throw down the gauntlet in an attempt to build something he’s been hinting at for quite some time now.

The internet sensation decided to propose a bet to the MMA star in which he stated if Silva wins he will face him in a kickboxing fight.

But if Paul wins, he said: “If I win, me and you come together to create a united fighter’s association to help UFC fighters get better pay and better healthcare.

“You become the interim president and we unite to help these fighters once and for all.”

Silva emphatically replied: “Deal.”

The pair shook hands on the bet and made it official.

Jake Paul has long been at odds with UFC boss Dana White over the amount that the promotion’s fighters are paid per fight and the lack of healthcare provided

Back in July, he took aim at the UFC President after the 53-year-old had gifted $250,000 to YouTuber Kyle Forgeard.

Speaking on WFAN Sports Radio, Paul said: “It’s embarrassing and it shows just how much of a scumbag Dana White is. How could you do that to your fighter? You’re giving a birthday gift to someone but your own flyweight champion (Deiveson Figueiredo), you can’t pay him enough and there’s no healthcare for his fighters.

“People are really starting to see how greedy this guy is, people are really starting to see that these fighters are underpaid. There’s got to be some change made here and the more we talk about it, the more we raise awareness and the more we fight back, the more pressure they’re going to be under to pay their fighters more.

“But it sucks, I feel bad for the flyweight champion. Dana White, if you’re listening to this, bro, you really need to re-evaluate yourself and take a hard look in the mirror.”

And it now seems he’s trying to promote the change himself with the help of Silva, IF he wins the fight.

However, the bet itself made a lot of fans question the legitimacy of the fight, as they do with every Jake Paul fight.

Many believed Silva wouldn’t agree to such a bet if he didn’t already know he was going to lose.

One fan said: “So Silva gonna lose is what I hear.”

Another wrote: “Ahh so the results are staged already.”

A third added: “Hate to say it but I smell a fix from a mile away.”
