'Build together. Don't burn': Anderson Silva tells KSI to make peace with Jake Paul

The interaction between KSI and Anderson Silva kicked off after KSI shared news of the MMA star’s apparent training mishap.

UFC legend Anderson Silva has called on KSI to make peace with his upcoming boxing opponent Jake Paul.

Ahead of his huge fight with the internet sensation, the MMA star is attempting to do the impossible - mend the relationship between Paul and KSI.

The two online stars have been locked in a bitter feud for many years now as fans eagerly await their impeding clash in the ring.

The interaction between KSI and Anderson Silva kicked off after KSI shared news of the MMA star’s apparent training mishap.

He tweeted: “Anderson Silva has said that he’s been knocked out twice before his fight against Jake Paul… Think we know how this is gonna go.”

The YouTuber certainly alluding to Paul’s abysmal record of having potential opponents pull out at the last minute.

The accusation came after the former UFC middleweight champion had expressed concern over being ‘knocked out’ twice in camp, however, he now claims that he had ‘misspoke’.

The Brazilian fighter retorted to KSI in what looked to be some words of wisdom from a veteran of the game.

Silva replied: “Young man please don’t try and spread rumours that were simply bad English. You and Jake are such an inspiration to the youth.

“Build together. Don’t burn.”

I mean great sentiment, but knowing KSI he probably took exception to being called ‘young man’.

And unsurprisingly, the Sidemen member wasn’t a fan of the comments and reassured what everyone already knew - there was no chance of mending the bridges between Paul and himself.

He tweeted: “I have no respect for Jake. He is no inspiration. Only thing he wants to build, is himself. He’s destroyed more bridges than a tsunami.

“Either way, my bad. Good luck in your fight.”

While Silva and Paul’s fight has been built on respect, the feud between KSI and Logan’s brother is built on everything but.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the official announcement of a marquee fight between KSI and Jake so the two can finally bury their long-time beef.

In August the pair had agreed to meet in a winner-takes-all fight at Wembley.

However, talk of such a fight has gone quiet since.

Perhaps things will begin to heat up again once Paul is through with Anderson Silva.
