The latest development in the Youtube boxing scene sees AnEsonGib face off with Austin McBroom, a member of The Ace family, in a highly anticipated bout.
Saudi-born British YouTuber AnEsonGib currently has 2,300,000 subscribers on Youtube, while The ACE Family account has over 18,900,000, with their most-watched video reaching over 40million views.
Gib gained notoriety in his boxing career when he was matched up with Jake Paul in 2020. Notoriety for the wrong reasons however, as Gib was TKO’d in the first round of a fight fans dubbed ‘one of the worst fights ever.’ However, he has competed in bouts since and clearly, his further training has paid off.

Both Gib and McBroom appeared on the same card in the first Social Gloves event, the boxing team surrounding McBroom, where McBroom won by TKO when he fought TikTok star Bryce Hall. Gib beat Tayler Holder after an initial draw was overruled by the International Sport Karate Association (ISKA).
The fight between Gib and McBroom is widely anticipated, with delays to the announcement being blamed by Gib on McBroom “ducking”. He later tweeted “Where is the announcement, they ask. Well, my friend. You should be asking that question to Austin McBroom because he’s taking his sweet, sweet time to sign the papers.”

Both YouTubers, turned boxers, announced they will settle their longstanding feud in a clash at the Crypto.com arena on July 30th.

The newly-named Crypto.com arena, formerly the Staples Center, is a sports stadium in downtown Los Angeles. It is home to both the LA Lakers and LA Clippers in the NBA, as well as the NHL ice hockey team LA Kings and women's WNBA Los Angeles Sparks. At full capacity, it can hold 20,000 fans and tickets are sure to be well sought-after when the British and American YouTubers go head-to-head.

The fight will be a pay-per-view, and McBroom announced former NFL All-Pro Le’Veon Bell will be on the undercard - although it hasn't been revealed who his opponent will be.
