Anthony Joshua fumes at Vasyl Lomachenko’s attempts to console him after defeat to Oleksandr Usyk

Joshua lost the rematch against Usyk on Saturday night.

New footage has emerged showing an angry Anthony Joshua reacting to Vasyl Lomachenko’s attempts to console him after his fight against Oleksandr Usyk

Joshua gave his all in his rematch against Usyk but it was not good enough as the crafty Ukrainian defended his IBF, WBO and WBA titles with a split decision victory in Saudi Arabia.

After the fight, a visibly agitated Joshua was seen storming out of the ring as he threw two of Usyk’s belts onto the ground.

And now, a new piece of footage uploaded has showed Joshua’s reaction to being consoled by Ukrainian boxer Lomachenko

Lomachenko was heard telling Joshua how well he fought and that he gave his heart.

Joshua however was not too pleased. He shouted: "F*** that s***, good boxing has to win. F**K this s**t.”

Whilst another clip showed the moment Joshua angrily marched out of the ring, he was heard saying “Get off me” repeatedly.

Fans were quick to show their discontent towards Joshua’s comments on social media.

One fan said: “So basically he was getting upset with people telling him he fought well? i guess it must be annoying when you've lost but still chill out bruh.”

Another fan tweeted: “Why didn't he show that aggressive attitude during the fight?”

A third fan added: “Good boxing did win. No harm losing to a better man it's just a shame AJ seems to still be surrounding by yes men.”

Usyk now has a chance to become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world but a massive hurdle stands in his way, in the shape of Tyson Fury.

Fury announced his retirement earlier on in the month but said after the fight that he is willing to come out of retirement to fight Usyk if the offer is right.

Usyk was asked after his fight if he thinks Fury will make a stunning return to the ring.

He replied: “I’m sure that Tyson Fury is not retired yet, I'm convinced he wants to fight me, I want to fight him and if I'm not fighting Tyson Fury I'm not fighting. Only God knows whether I will or not.”

For Joshua, it is back to the drawing board as his hopes of being the undisputed king of the division are all but over.
