The recently-retired Tyson Fury has revealed he wants to fight Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in a huge marquee exhibition fight.
Incredibly, the Gypsy King has named the former WWE legend-turned-Hollywood megastar on a stacked shortlist of potential opponents he’d be eager to get in the ring with.
While the undefeated boxer insists he is remaining retired, for now at least, he admits he’d be interested in cashing in on an exhibition bout – the sort which have grown in popularity in recent years thanks to a few YouTubers and some retired boxers.

Perhaps the most well-known exhibition fight took place when Floyd Mayweather Jr went up against Logan Paul back in 2021, with Mayweather claiming he made $100 million from the event.
Fury’s eyes must have lit up when he heard those figures, as he took to Good Morning Britain to outline his future plans for some high-profile bouts.
He said: “I'm going to do some exhibition fights, they're not real fights, it's for the entertainment. This is not professional boxing, this is pure entertainment, that's all it is, nothing more, nothing less.

"The difference is, the exhibition you're not there to win or lose, you're there to put on a show for the fans. You can fight old-timers, famous people, whoever you want; I'm looking to fight Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Frank Bruno or Dwayne Johnson, The Rock.
"I told (promoter) Frank Warren to show me the money and he has to if he wants me on those shows.”
A matchup between The Rock and Fury would be enough to instantly sell out any arena, while the build-up alone between two of the most charismatic performers in the world would undoubtedly be one for the ages.

As for Fury's professional boxing career, huge match-ups would certainly be in wait if the two-time world heavyweight champion did decide to return.
Marquee matchups against the likes of Anthony Joshua would turn the world of boxing on its head, however, Fury has claimed it’ll take a massive payday to get him in that sort of matchup.
Taking to Twitter, he said: “I, The Gypsy King, am happily retired.

“But to get me out of retirement, considering I don’t need the money and I don’t need the aggravation, it’s going to cost these people half a (billion)”.
Can’t blame the man for making his money.
While the British boxer certainly seems to be baiting his retirement as a means of making more money he has maintained that any potential fights are just rumours at this stage.
Fury retired following his technical knockout win against Dillian Whyte in April at Wembley Stadium in front of 94,000 fans.
