Paul, whose bother Logan took on rival KSI last year, will step into the ring for the second time in his professional career on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr.
It's likely to be a huge money spinner for the two legendary boxers making their comebacks, with Tyson returning to the ring for the first time in 15 years, but that's not so much the case for the undercard.
According to the Mirror, Paul is only guaranteed £450 for his night's work, against one time LA Clippers player Robinson.
The 23-year-old could make more money in the long run based on pay-per-view sales but the pair are only definitely going to make $100 per round, as per the California State Athletic Commission's minimum payment.
In February 2018, Paul's brother Logan took on fellow YouTuber KSI for the first time in an amateur bout in Manchester, with KSI coming out the winner.
Jake fought KSI's brother Deji on the undercard and made it 1-1 in the battle of the siblings. He fought another YouTuber, AnEsonGib, on the undercard of the Paul vs KSI rematch a year later.
He made it 1-0 in his professional career with a 1st round stoppage.
That win has clearly made him very certain of victory over 36-year-old Robinson, 13 years his senior, and he's warned the point guard's children not to watch the fight, saying, "Nate's kids, if you're watching, please don't watch the fight. I don't want to... I don't want to embarrass your dad in front of you.
"Please, Nate's kids, don't watch the fight. It's going to be bad; it's going to be bloody."
His confidence reaches past Saturday night's fight and he's already set his sights on a more illustrious fighter for his next fight.
Speaking recently the American called out UFC star Conor McGregor, saying, "These MMA guys go to practice every day and have to spend their whole day on one thing - elbows, knees, grappling, take downs so there's a lot they have to work on.
"But I've been going into the gym for the past three years and all I've been focusing on is boxing, so come over into my arena and you're going to get your a** beat.
"Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor will happen.
"People think that's crazy and Jake's going to get his a** kicked but we'll see."
