Jake Paul delivered his own tongue-in-cheek reaction to Tyson Fury's 11th-round stoppage victory over Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas last night.

Fury retained his WBC title in a pulsating fight at the T-Mobile Arena, and Paul took to Twitter to call out the world champion.

It would be fair to say that there was a mixed reaction to his bold claim, with Paul's supporters genuinely believing he is a chance against a man on course to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 2000.

But it would be fair to say that there was more than a degree of scepticism about the current cruiserweight's prospects of knocking Fury off his perch.

The 24-year-old is one of the most divisive figures in boxing, but certainly adds plenty of interest to the sport whenever he enters the ring.

An astonishing1.3million people saw him defeat Tyson Woodley last month - more than Fury's title re-match with Wilder in February 2020, which amassed 800,000 viewers.

The YouTuber is slowly gaining respect in the sport after making an unbeaten start to his professional career, with a 4-0 record to date.

Paul is set for a fight with The Gypsy King's brother, Tommy, after the Manchester Evening News claimed that an agreement had been reached between the pair. The details of the contract were shared on Instagram, which includes a bizarre clause that involves Fury changes his name if he loses.

Tommy Fury will be called 'Tommy Fumbles' for a year if Paul is victorious. But if the result goes the other way, then the former Disney Channel actor will pay Fury an additional $500k. Half a million dollars seems like loose change to a man whose estimated worth is rumoured to be around $20million.

Meanwhile, a humiliating name change for Tommy seems like he would have more to lose in this little wager.

As talkSPORT reports, Fury is not the only one to have been called out by Paul. The social media personality has publicly targeted Connor McGregor, along with several other UFC fighters that include: Jorge Masvidal, Paddy Pimblett and Anderson Silva.

It is certainly going to be interesting to see how his career progresses in the years to come.
