Tyson Fury Makes Incredible Promise If His Brother Tommy Loses To Jake Paul, It's Life Changing

Tyson Fury has stunningly promised to retire his brother from boxing if the 22-year-old cannot dispatch Jake Paul.

With talks ongoing between Tommy Fury and Paul, the former Love Island star's older sibling has decided to add even more pressure to the possible future bout.

Paul, a YouTuber-turned-boxer, recently defeated former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in a boxing match via a points decision.

But critics are now calling for the controversial star to face an opponent with a real boxing pedigree, rather than an ex-MMA fighter.

Fury would appear to fit the bill, as he carries a name synonymous with boxing success, and a record of 7-0 in the professional ranks.

However, if the two young fighters do face-off in the coming months, Tyson Fury - keen to protect the integrity of his illustrious family name - isn't going to tolerate anything other than a concussive win from his baby brother.

"If Tommy can't splatter Jake Paul, I'll retire him from boxing myself," the 33-year-old told YouTube channel Boxing Social."He's got ambitions of being a world champion, never mind beating some YouTube guy... His name's Fury. If he can't beat Jake Paul, I'll have to change his name."

Tyson is currently preparing for his Saturday night showdown with Deontay Wilder, which sees the Brit attempt to defend the WBA world title belt that he took from his American opponent at the beginning of 2020.

Tommy meanwhile is still targeting a bout with Paul in the near future, although a disagreement over finances could scupper his plans.

Last month, Fury admitted that he turned down two separate offers from Team Paul, the second of which being for $1 million.

He dismissed the offer as "not worth getting out of bed for", although negotiations are thought to have continued in the interim.

If a deal can be reached, the pressure on Fury will be immense. Paul demonstrated his brutal power against Ben Askren, and his boxing IQ against Woodley - which adds up to a half-decent fighter.

Tommy Fury will need to deliver the goods on the night, or else he may not be invited to his family's Christmas dinner this year.
