Logan Paul tweeted Conor McGregor coach John Kavanagh regarding the YouTuber's rumoured exhibition fight with Floyd Mayweather - then quickly deleted his message.
As outlandish as it may seem, talk keeps going that a showdown between the greatest pound-for-pound boxer of his era and social media star Logan Paul could happen this year. This despite no word of comment yet from Mayweather's side.
But that hasn't stopped others having their say and on Thursday, MMA coach Kavanagh tweeted: "How is Logan getting a pro license to fight Mayweather?
"Has no pro combat sports experience? 'Yes, but didn't Conor get a boxing license to debut against him?'

"True, but you're a slow donkey if you think that is in any way similar to a youtuber getting one for his debut."
However Paul actually made his pro debut against KSI last year - and obtained a boxing license via the California State Athletic Commission Though some might argue that 'Money' Mayweather represents a slightly tougher in-ring challenge than KSI.
Anyway, Paul fired off a quick tweet to Kavanagh saying simply: "Relax Karen" with an image of his boxing licence.
However Logan quickly deleted his reply soon after sending. That means neither party has officially commented on the fight rumours since Paul's "bring it" challenge to Mayweather last year.

If the two do meet in a boxing ring, it's more than likely going to be as an exhibition anyway. Possibly so Floyd can protect his 50-0 record from the sheer ferocious power of Logan Paul's uppercuts. Or so we heard.
Mayweather's in-ring appearances have been increasingly curious in recent years: the crossover fight with McGregor, then an exhibition with a kickboxer in Japan (all fought under boxing rules).
Could you really rule out Floyd going toe-to-toe with a YouTuber to round off a bizarre sporting year?
