Snoop Dogg is already one of hip-hop's GOATs but he proved an all-time great boxing commentator as he watched Jake Paul's brutal knockout of Nate Robinson.

YouTuber Paul moved to 2-0 (two KOs) as he took out ex-NBA player Robinson on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr. But you got none of that dry information from Snoop - who was instead singing hymns as Robsinson tried to haul himself up from the canvas.

Snoop, who referred to the contest as a "hood fight", spring into life when Paul put Robinson down hard with a right hand in the second round.

"Ohhh my GAWD!" yelled Snoop, speaking for a nation. "Lord have mercy! Oh Jesus!"

Preach on, reverend Snoop. Co-commentator Mauro Ranallo interjected with: "Snoop, talk about dropping like it's hot!"

However Snoop wasn't listening, he was too busy giving it everything with some incredible choral singing. "Take my hand, lead me home, let me stand..." warbled the rapper, as Robinson - possibly inspired by Snoop's singing - managed to get to his feet.

The referee waved the combatants together again but Snoop - displaying his clear expert eye for the sport - could see it was over.

"Goodnight Irene," said Snoop as Jake Paul moved in for the finish. "OH LORD!" exploded Snoop, as Paul's final flurry left Robinson face-first on the canvas, with the referee waving the contest off. Thankfully, Robinson soon regained consciousness.

Snoop, however, was only just getting started as he continued his sensational commentary for the main event: Tyson's eight-round draw with Jones.

"This is like two of my uncles fighting at the barbeque!" said Snoop with the fight barely 30 seconds old.

"Grandma, they out there fighting again!"

Simply incredible. Snoop had actually already entertained the global TV audience when he performed some of his best tunes - while smoking weed - earlier in the broadcast.

Whether that had anything to do with his incredible job on commentary, who are we to say?

All we want to see now is Snoop Dogg paired up with Martin Tyler for a future Premier League Super Sunday. "And it's liiive....".
