Canelo ENDS Kamaru Usman's Manager Ali Abdelaziz Over Super-Fight, Brutally Responds To Call Out

Canelo ENDS Kamaru Usman's Manager Ali Abdelaziz Over Super-Fight, Brutally Responds To Call Out

Canelo called out by Kamaru Usman's manager.

Canelo Alvarez has brutally responded to Ali Abdelaziz after he slammed the Mexican superstar over a super-fight with UFC star Kamaru Usman.

A blockbuster cross-code clash between Canelo and Usman has been mooted, with the UFC welterweight champion wanting a piece of the pound-for-pound boxing king.

Usman's manager called out Canelo on Twitter, poking fun at the social media presence of his upcoming opponent and calling him a 'chicken'.

He tweeted: "@Canelo is an absolute chicken, he is fighting guys with 5000 followers on Instagram, these guys will never do nothing for his legacy.

"Now I understand why he doesn’t wanna lose to someone like @USMAN84kg this is chicken style, no risk - no reward."

Canelo, in no mood to mess around, ruthlessly hit back at Abdelaziz.

"Who the fuck is this?" He wrote in response to the original tweet.

Abdelaziz responded: "You know who I am, you know what’s the difference between you and @USMAN84kg?

"You’ve been ducking GGG for 2 years now, but Kamaru have fought everybody UFC threw at him. I’m being very nice to you, because it’s Ramadan."

Canelo returns to action next weekend when he faces Dimitry Bivol for the WBA (super) light-heavyweight title.

He's plotting an assault at the 175lbs division, but is being eyed by Usman who wants to challenge himself against Canelo.

Asked about the possibility of facing the 31-year-old in the ring, he told SPORTbible: "Yes! I believe it can for sure. If there's a right amount. If it makes money for the company. If it makes dollars, it makes sense.

"So, this is something that I would love to do. I want to test myself in that way and I want to be scared again in that one. Not to say I'm not scared when I fight these guys, I am scared. But to go in there with that guy. It's scary. And I definitely thrive in those situations.

"It definitely could happen. He's expressed his interest in it. All it is you pick up a phone, make the call let's get it going. But if you can't do that, then what's the point."
