Conor McGregor Has 'Made Contact' With Jake Paul's Team In Ongoing Feud

Conor McGregor Has 'Made Contact' With Jake Paul's Team In Ongoing Feud

Is this the year we get McGregor vs Paul?

Conor McGregor has followed Jake Paul's manager, Nakisa Bidarian, on Instagram as the YouTube star continues to look for a fight.

Paul is currently 5-0 in boxing and his endgame for years at this point is a showdown with UFC superstar McGregor in the ring.

'The Notorious' has turned down fighting Paul a number of times, but he's recently followed Bidarian in first official contact.

Bidarian represents Most Valuable Promotions, Paul's promotion company, and used to work as Chief Financial Officer for the UFC.

He helped broker the company's $4 billion sale to Endeavour in 2016 - the year McGregor smashed pay-per-view records and became a two-weight champion.

McGregor is currently out of action after suffering a broken leg in defeat to Dustin Poirier back in July.

The Irishman also lost to Poirier last January and his only win in recent memory came against Donald Cerrone two years ago.

Paul believes McGregor needs to take a fight against him as it'll be easy money for a fighter on a downward spiral.

He explained: “It makes financial sense. At this point, he needs me more than I need him. He’s a f**king loser," he said.

"He’s a drunk motherf**ker running around with his bulls*** doing all this crazy s***.

"The guy’s a mess, he hasn't won in four years or something so like I said, he needs me more than I need him."

McGregor is angling for a fight with UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira when he's cleared for action, sometime this year.

Paul, meanwhile, may be stepping into MMA thanks to an ongoing feud with UFC president Dana White.

The 24-year-old wants to fight Jorge Masvidal and even offered to retire from boxing if he was given the chance.

White responded to Paul's initial statement and managed to drag Bidarian into it.

He vented: "That thing that you came out with today: nobody on earth thinks that you really wrote that. You’re too stupid.

"And for those of you that don’t know, if you’ve ever watched one of his fights and you see when they do the stare-down, the guy that’s standing in the middle with the warlock nose and the big warlock wart on his face, apparently that’s his manager and that guy used to be an accountant for me.

"And let’s just say this, he no longer works for me and I think he’s a scumbag."

White previously claimed he would never work with Jake or his brother, Logan, in a professional capacity.

Paul uploaded training footage earlier this month and tagged Bellator as well as PFL in the post.
