Deontay Wilder Has Officially Lost The Plot With Ridiculous Tyson Fury OJ Simpson Glove Comment

Deontay Wilder is still claiming Tyson Fury's glove was loaded in his WBC heavyweight title defeat in 2020.

Deontay Wilder has made a bizarre OJ Simpson comparison as he continues to claim Tyson Fury's glove was illegally loaded in his WBC heavyweight world championship defeat in February 2020.

Fury dominated Wilder in their second bout, with the Bronze Bomber's corner throwing the towel in during the seventh round after seeing him battered and bloodied inside the squared circle.

But instead of being gracious following a brutal first career defeat, Wilder came out with a slew of excuses.

Not only did he he blame the 40lbs Black History tribute costume he wore, the Alabama fighter has regularly claimed Fury's gloves were tampered with.

He's pushed out his conspiracy theory on a number of occasions, even posting footage in an attempt to back up his allegation.

And ahead of the third bout this weekend, Wilder is still rolling with the idea that Fury cheated and this time he's made a reference to the infamous OJ Simpson trial in 1994.

"Your eyes don't lie to you," he said on The Last Stand with Brian Custer.

"When you see certain images, videos. When you see things bending, folding, go at a 90-degree angle, that's real. It's just like with OJ, the glove didn't fit - but we know what the real was."

As is pretty common knowledge, former NFL player Simpson was acquitted of the murders of his ex wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goodman on the basis that the glove used by the suspect didn't fit his hand.

In the aftermath of the loss, Wilder's brother younger brother Marsellos also alleged the former champion suffered a dent to his head that he claims could not have been caused by a glove or fist.

BT Sport's footage of Fury getting his hands wrapped debunks the conspiracy completely and the Gypsy King and his team have constantly made light of the comments.

"You know what? I’m going to cheat again because I’m going to smash his face in,” Fury joked to Ariel Helwani on the MMA hour this week.

“According to him, that’s cheating because he’s not supposed to lose. Unfortunately, I’m going to cheat again. I’m going to kick his ass, sea bass. I had horseshoes in there. You know I’m a gypsy don’t you? You ever watch ‘Peaky Blinders’? I loaded the gloves with horseshoes and dynamite. This time I’m going to do exactly the same. Put a bit more metal in there.”
