'Bulls**t!' - Floyd Mayweather Hits Back At Logan Paul's Claim He Hasn't Been Fully Paid For Their Exhibition Fight

'Bulls**t!' - Floyd Mayweather Hits Back At Logan Paul's Claim He Hasn't Been Fully Paid For Their Exhibition Fight

Mayweather claims Paul wants to face him in a rematch.

Floyd Mayweather insists Logan Paul HAS been fully paid for their exhibition fight and claims the YouTuber-turned-boxer wants to face him in a rematch.

Mayweather, 45, and Paul, 27, met in a non-judged eight-round exhibition bout in Miami, Florida last June.

After the fight, it was reported that Mayweather could have earned as much as $65m (£53m) from the event, while Paul reportedly earned a guaranteed fee of $250,000 (£205,000) and was owed as much as $20m (£14m) due to his 10 per cent share of the pay-per-view revenue.

However, Paul claimed in February that he had failed to receive his correct payment for the fight, branding Mayweather a "scumbag".

Last month, Paul announced his intention to take Mayweather to court over the pay dispute.

Since then, Mayweather has appeared in another exhibition bout against Don Moore in Dubai and has now announced a further fight against Mikuru Asakura in Japan in September.

Reflecting on his fight with Paul, Mayweather said: "Logan Paul – I don't really wanna call that an exhibition.

"I came to entertain and he came to hold.

"Someone from his team – the guy who actually put the exhibition on that I was working with – reached out to us and said Logan Paul wanted to do another exhibition.

"This is the same guy that said he didn't get paid. So you guys have got to start watching these individuals clout chasing.

"You see these guys constantly bringing up Floyd Mayweather's name on the internet, just trying to get clout.

"I don't even entertain the bulls***. We know he got paid. If he didn't get paid, he wouldn't be trying to get another payday."

It is the first time Mayweather has claimed that Paul has been fully paid for the fight, after previously admitting his opponent had yet to receive what he was owed for his pay-per-view share.

"This comes with the territory," Mayweather said back in February.

"To them, that's real money, and I like the YouTubers. The money on the back end though, from pay-per-view, that takes a while.

"Nothing comes right away. I'm still collecting cheques from fights seven or eight years ago.

"They just hate when the table is turned. Be happy with the biggest payday you ever got in your life."
