Tyson Fury Claims He Used To Drink Foster's In Between Rounds

The Gypsy King is in the best shape of his career but he didn't used to look after himself anywhere near as well, even during fights.

Tyson Fury has advised people to make sure they're drinking during their lockdown exercise, even if it's a can of Foster's, revealing that's what he used to drink between rounds.

The WBC heavyweight world champion is currently enjoying lockdown by doing daily workouts on Instagram Live and encouraging others to join him.

He warned about making sure everyone avoids becoming dehydrated by drinking 'whatever' and revealed it's because he used to drink Foster's during fights. "Take some fluids on board, take some water, whatever you've got," the Gypsy King warned.

"Yeah, why I say, 'Whatever you've got' is because after being around boxing my whole life I've seen people drinking some weird stuff during training.

"Example, full fat coke. Example, Red Bull, milkshake.

"I've even seen someone drinking a can of Foster's in between rounds. Mention no names - Tyson Fury.

"Ah, the good old days, eh?"

Fury is a changed man in recent years and is now taking his fitness far more seriously in his 'second career' in boxing, as he put it.

The two time world champ ballooned up to 28 stone after defeating Wladimir Klitschko and fighting both drug addiction and depression in the aftermath.

Against Otto Wallin last year he weighed just over 18 stone, before putting on weight for the second fight against Deontay Wilder at the beginning of this year, but was very much a purposeful decision.

Fury revealed ahead of the Wilder rematch how seriously he was taking things revealing that, not only is there no Foster's between rounds anymore, he'd stopped drinking diet Coke as part of his preparation, "I'm really eliminating all the distractions this time. No phones, no thing like that. No diet coke, which I've become susceptible to," Fury added, "I've had tons, and tons, and tons of it in every training camp. This is the first training camp in 10 years I've not had one diet coke and I won't have any until after the fight.

"This is the 1st training camp where I'm going to bed early at 9.30 every night and I wake up every morning at 7 am, fresh as a daisy."

Some of his other prep was a little odder, with the 31-year-old claiming he was masturbating seven times-a-day, "I'm masturbating seven times a day, keep my testosterone pumping. I've gotta keep active, testosterone flowing. Don't want the levels to go down"

There's plenty of time for all of that now he's in lockdown.
