Jake Paul accepts KSI’s offer for a big-money fight at Wembley Stadium

Jake Paul accepts KSI’s offer for a big-money fight at Wembley Stadium

The fight has become Twitter-binding with the American YouTuber taking to the social media platform to accept KSI’s conditions.

It’s finally going ahead.

Jake Paul has accepted KSI’s challenge to a winner-takes-all mega-fight at Wembley.

YouTube scrollers and boxing fans alike will be excited to hear that the big-money grudge match, which has been in the works for what seems like years, is actually happening.

The fight has now become Twitter-binding with American YouTuber Paul taking to the social media platform to accept KSI’s conditions for a boxing match next year.

The two rivals had been embroiled in a heated exchange of words after both men had their scheduled fights this month canned.

Paul was due to face Hasim Rahman Jr at Madison Square Garden last week but the bout was called off with seven days' notice due to a dispute over the weight class for the fight.

KSI had mocked Paul over the cancellation and offered Paul a spot on the undercard of his fight against Alex Wassabi on August 27.

However, in perhaps the biggest underscoring of karma, Wassabi had to pull out of the fight after suffering a concussion in training.

KSI’s replacement fight with rapper Swarmz left much to be desired.

After being egged on by Jake to accept a fight with him instead, KSI finally buckled and sent through an offer.

He tweeted: “I’m gonna send you a contract. We fight next year. Wembley Stadium. Winner of the fight takes all. 100% of the purse will be on the line.

“Put your money where your mouth is and let’s finally end this.

“Will you accept?”

And now, the 5-0 boxer has accepted the challenge.

However, he did so under one condition.

He tweeted: “Good morning guy ‘fighting’ rapper with t-shirt on.

“Your hometown & winner takes all. 1000% I accept, but one condition…

“You have to reply and admit that as of TODAY when it comes to boxing I am betr.”

KSI swiftly replied: “As of today in boxing you’re better.

“Let’s run it b***h.”

And just like that, it looks like we’re in store for a huge internet fight that has been boiling up for years.

Meanwhile, in true Jake Paul fashion, it seemed he used the attention from the exchange between him and the Englishman to promote his new betting app ‘Betr’.

I guess the misspelling of ‘better’ makes a lot more sense now, and it wasn’t simply Paul being illiterate.

Expect further details of the exact dates and conditions of the fight to come out in the near future, and expect a packed-out Wembley Stadium once it does.
