Jake Paul Calls Out Rival Fighter Ahead Of Tyron Woodley Bout, Wants To 'Pummel His Face Into The Canvas'

Jake Paul Calls Out Rival Fighter Ahead Of Tyron Woodley Bout, Wants To 'Pummel His Face Into The Canvas'

Speaking ahead of the Tyron Woodley fight, Jake Paul says KSI would "be signing up to lose" if he stepped into the squared circle with him.

YouTuber Jake Paul has called out fierce rival KSI by insisting that he wants to “pummel his face into the canvas.”

The 24-year-old American star has continued to push ahead with his boxing campaign since his professional debut against YouTuber AnEsonGib in 2020.

Paul, who secured a first-round TKO win over AnEsonGib, has since claimed stoppage victories over ex-NBA star Nate Robinson and former UFC fighter Ben Askren.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer will return to action on 29th August for his bout with former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in Cleveland, Ohio.

However, Paul was once heavily linked to fight KSI after the Brit defeated his older brother, Logan, in their blockbuster boxing match in 2019.

Plans for a fight with KSI failed to lift off amid the coronavirus pandemic, with Paul admitting that their feud might be “over.”

Paul pulled no punches towards KSI after claiming “he won't ever be able to even come close to beating me.”

The YouTube star told The Daily Mirror: “I think it's over. I don't see it happening.

“However, I will take that fight and do it wherever or whenever and I would love nothing more than to pummel his face into the canvas.

“I think he knows the level that I've got to and he won't ever be able to even come close to beating me.

“So, he'd basically be signing up to lose.”

KSI, real name JJ Olatunji, has enjoyed a successful music career during Paul’s venture into boxing.

The 28-year-old YouTuber’s debut album, 2020’s Dissimulation, made it to No 2 in the UK charts before he released his first No 1 album in July with ‘All Over The Place.’

KSI has refused to rule out a fight with Paul in the future, but he is expected to make his return to the squared circle against YouTube rival Austin McBroom.

However, KSI and McBroom have only reached a verbal agreement for the fight, which could take place later this year.
