Nate Diaz accuses Jake Paul of using steroids, he fires back with brutal response

Nate Diaz accuses Jake Paul of using steroids, he fires back with brutal response

Jake Paul responded to Nate Diaz with a brutal message on social media.

Jake Paul has hit back at Nate Diaz after he accused him of using steroids ahead of their upcoming clash.

Paul, who suffered the first professional defeat of his budding career to Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia, will look to return to winning ways when he welcomes Diaz to the squared circle.

Diaz left the UFC after he beat Tony Ferguson last September in his final bout on his deal, allowing him to explore free agency.

The Stockton slugger opted to switch combat codes as he faces 'The Problem Child' in a highly-anticipated boxing bout in Dallas, Texas.

Ahead of their August 5 showdown, the pair have been exchanging words on social media, with Diaz accusing Paul of using performance enhancing drugs.

He also demanded the fight goes over 12 rounds instead of the eight rounds scheduled.

"12 rounds. You’re on steroids so lets put that sh*t to work," tweeted the 38-year-old.

Paul swiftly replied as he referenced Conor McGregor whilst suggesting a 15 round fight.

On Twitter, he wrote: "You speaking to me Nathan? We haven’t forgotten that you tested positive for steroids. You and your boyfriend Connor are juice heads.

"Let’s do 15 rounds and see how good those cannabis corroded lungs are.

"VADA going to be coming to Stockton to slap you up."

Paul will continue his trend of facing former UFC stars as he prepares to meet Diaz, having beaten the likes of Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley and Anderson Silva.

He's undefeated against MMA fighters, but Jorge Masvidal is backing Diaz to 'smoke' him.

"It’s just the time of it," said Masvidal. "Jake’s obviously a lot younger than Nate. If Nate’s in his prime, I think he smokes Jake. But Nate’s been out of it for a while. I don’t know what kind of shape his lifestyle is like outside a serious training camp."
