Jake Paul Reveals The Staggering Amount Of Money He Made From Boxing In 2021

​Jake Paul made a LOT of money from boxing last year, revealing how much he earned in a sports documentary profiling his career.

Paul, 25, was profiled in the latest episode of HBO's Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel. 

And during the interview, 'The Problem Child' disclosed his earnings from boxing in 2021 - which included fights against Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley (x2).

From those three exploits, Paul banked a whopping $45 million (£34 million), making him one of the sport's highest-earners. 

Asked how much he made in boxing last year, the 5-0 boxer replied: "$45 million, yeah."

Quizzed on how he's made it possible to forge a lucrative career inside the squared circle, he added: "Man, you know, innovation I think, and doing things differently, and knocking people out."

​Paul's bouts against Askren and Woodley all headlined cards either on Triller or Showtime pay-per-view. 

He hasn't fought his knocking out Woodley last December, as he takes time out to help co-promote the blockbuster showdown between Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor.

​But he's eyeing his next opponent, calling out former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping. 

Ahead of Paul's ring return, Oscar De La Hoya praised his venture into the world of boxing and reckons he's on his way to becoming a world champion. 

"Let me tell you one thing about Jake Paul. He's the real deal. I'm gonna tell you that, with only four or five fights, and the way he's taking it serious," said De La Hoya. 

"Jake Paul is the real deal. And I dare anyone who has boxing experience who has MMA experience to call him out, 'cause I'll tell you one thing, this guy can beat a lot of good champions, and even great champions."

The 49-year-old added: "This is not a one-off, a two-off, a three-off, no. He wants to become a world champion. There's no way out of becoming a world champion. You have to fight the very best.​

"He's on his way to becoming a contender, and he's on his way to becoming a world contender, then a world champion."
