KSI VS Alex Wassabi: Fight Preview, Date, Where To Watch

All you need to know about the KSI VS Alex Wassabi boxing match

KSI will face Alex Wassabi in his next fight on August 27th at the O2 arena, according to a leaked press release.

The YouTuber has partnered with DAZN for a new series of crossover boxing events, with his reported fight with Wassabi set to be the main event on DAZN pay per view in the UK and the US.

KSI’s younger brother Deji is set to feature on the undercard, as he faces American Youtuber Fousey.

This will be the Rapper’s second professional Boxing match and first since he defeated Logan Paul at the Staples Center in Los Angeles in November 2019, while Wassabi will be partaking in his first professional fight.

However, Wassabi has fought and beaten Deji in an amateur fight previously, and many are speculating that KSI has set out to avenge his younger sibling.

On Thursday night, the Spanish version of DAZN’s website accidentally leaked a press release revealing that KSI has recently committed to a new deal with the sport’s broadcaster.

This is part of a new series of events promoted by KSI’s promotional company Misfits Boxing in association with the Sauerland brothers, Wasserman Boxing and Proper Loud.

This new series will be dubbed the ‘MF & DAZN: X Series’ and will show figures from the world of sports and entertainment facing off in high level boxing events.

The first of these is set to be headlined by KSI vs Alex Wassabi in August at the O2 Arena, with Deji vs Fousey to also be accompanied by Faze Temper vs Blueface on the undercard.

KSI has made it abundantly clear that his long-term goal is to fight and beat Jake Paul. However, the Wassabi fight may serve as a warm-up to this aspiration.

Jake Paul was not seen as a threat when the Brit fought his older brother Logan back in 2019, but much has changed since then. Since then, Jake has beaten Deji, whilst also winning five professional fights, moving him to 5-0 (4 KOs).

His target is now KSI.
