Comedian pretends to be Anthony Joshua and asks Laura Woods cheeky question

Comedian pretends to be Anthony Joshua and asks Laura Woods cheeky question

It left Laura Woods in hysterics.

Laura Woods burst out laughing after a comedian pretending to be Anthony Joshua asked her if she was still single.

It comes after Joshua declared that Woods is his 'dream date' as they sat down for a flirtatious conversation following his win over Jermaine Franklin in April.

A few months on from their chat, Woods was joined by impressionist Adam Diggle, who teased the talkSPORT host.

Pretending to be the heavyweight boxer, he asked her: "Are you still single?"

The hilarious question left Woods and Ally McCoist in hysterics. Woods said: "You lot stitched me up."

The Scot proceeds to ask the 35-year-old: "Answer the question." To which she replied: "Yes, AJ."

During their original interview, Joshua mocked iFL TV's Kugan Cassius by saying he "isn't as pretty" as Woods, stating that he has "a face for radio" to which the duo burst into laughter.

After a brief conversation about his victory over Franklin, Woods asked 'AJ' who his "dream date" was, and he didn't hold back in his response.

The former world champion responded: "You," before adding: "I know that [Ruben] Loftus-Cheek has beaten me to it" a comment made in reference to Woods publicly declaring her desire to secure the Chelsea midfielder's phone number after he also admitted that the presenter was his celebrity crush.

She appeared to distance herself from the footballer, adding "it's fine, there's no competition" before Joshua continued his pursuit of Woods asking: "Are you in a relationship?"

Woods quickly confirmed that she's not in a relationship, though she added "I'm too focused on work" to which Joshua agreed, prompting Woods to joke "we've got so much in common!"

The 33-year-old explained that he has opted against committing to a relationship throughout his career to focus on his boxing career.

He added: "With boxing, I feel, I never wanted to commit [to a relationship] and I'm busy arguing with my Mrs. or something and then my head's not in the game so I just decided to keep my head where it needs to be."
