The punching power of boxing legend Mike Tyson compared to a normal person has been highlighted in a video.
Tyson, who is also known as 'Iron Mike', is one of the most ferocious and dominant fighters to have graced the boxing ring.
The former heavyweight champion, who is the youngest to ever win the title at just 20, ended his fighting career with a record of 50 wins (44 KOs), six losses and two no-contests - and it is clear to see why.

His punching power was second to none in his prime - but without facing it or seeing it in person, it can be hard to comprehend just how powerful Tyson was at this point in his career.
Instead, a TikTok account (@starfieldstudio) has posted a video of a simulation that has demonstrated the punching power from the American back in his prime fighting days.
Pounds per square inch (PSI) is an imperial unit of pressure and is used in this video to measure the force behind each punch. For example, 1 PSI would be one pound of pressure applied per square inch.

As shown in the video above, a punch from an average person comes in at around 150 PSI. Which would still hurt.

The average measurement from a professional boxer comes in at 800 PSI. That would really hurt.
Now for Tyson. Brace yourselves. The value for a punch from Iron Mike in his prime comes in at a whopping 1800 PSI. That would leave more than just a mark.
The 57-year-old's fighting days are far from over, too. It was recently announced that he would take on online star Jake Paul on July 20 at the AT&T Arena in Dallas, Texas. The punches likely won't hit the 1800 PSI value this time round - but will still leave quite the bruise.
