Anthony Joshua Names The Six Fights He Wants Before Retirement

World heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has had 24 bouts in his decorated professional career but still has his eyes on six specific fights before he calls it a day.

An all British showdown with WBC champion Tyson Fury and an eagerly anticipated with the man Gypsy King recently dethroned, Deontay Wilder, are at the top of his wishlist.

But 'AJ' also wants to mix it up with Luis Ortiz before he's done and dusted, while he also relishes a fight with Oleksandr Usyk, who made the move up to heavyweight after dominating the cruiserweight division.

Joshua wants Jarrell Miller having seen 'Big Baby' test positive prior to their scheduled bout in 2019, and finally name dropped Polish boxer Adam Kownacki, who was progressing nicely but suffered a shock defeat to Finnish fighter Robert Helenius last month.

The Fury fight is the one Joshua wants next and he's so desperate for the unification bout that he's even content with doing battle behind closed doors.

He told DAZN: "If Eddie Hearn said he managed to secure the Tyson Fury fight, but it is behind closed doors, I would take it.

"If I don't take it now then I don't think Tyson Fury will be around by the time this all comes around again, when big hall shows are available. I have to take the opportunity while they're there."

"We have two current heavyweight champions in Great Britain right now. Wilder, it would be good if he stepped aside, Pulev, it would be good if he stepped aside and we got this fight on as it is one that the world is screaming for.

"I am looking at Tyson Fury like I am going to walk through him as well. I had my issue last year [losing to Ruiz], I got through it and I want to correct it. People don't know what that does for a fighter mentally when he loses in front of the world and what it takes to come back. Having this time to reflect has been a blessing in disguise."
