Anthony Joshua has showed off his vicious punching power in a new training video amid discussions over a super-fight against Tyson Fury.

Joshua took to social media to share a terrifying clip of his training ahead of potentially facing British rival and WBC king Fury next.

Talks are underway for Joshua and Fury to clash in a lucrative 'Battle of Britain' showdown this year.

With discussions rumbling on, 'AJ' got boxing fans talking after he uploaded a video of himself unloading a series of brutal left-hooks on a heavy bag.

He captioned the video: "Disciple of Destruction."

Joshua's video on Twitter sent social media wild.

One wrote: "Catch fury with that and he will not wake back up. Night night."

A second tweeted: "No human being can take that and last for 10sec. Some one is in trouble."

A third added: "Tysons big bald head gonna be bouncing off the canvas."

Promoter Eddie Hearn says contracts for the heavyweight bout should be signed in three or four weeks.

"We will say, hopefully in the next three or four weeks: deal done, everybody's on board and signed," he said.

"Talks are progressing, it's going really well, we're drafting contracts and I think, really, if someone said to me: 'How long do you think?' I'd say in the next four weeks - that's when the deal will get closed.

"We're in a position now where everything is being finalised in the contractual sense, then we will go to the venues where we've had offers and say: 'OK, now we're looking to negotiate and finalise that.'"

Joshua last fought in December when he stopped mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev, while Fury hasn't fought since dethroning Deontay Wilder of the WBC world heavyweight title back in February 2020.
