Joseph Parker Is Plotting Something Exciting For Anthony Joshua's Next Fight

Joseph Parker wants another piece of an Anthony Joshua card.

The previously-unbeaten Kiwi was relieved of his WBO heavyweight world title following the points defeat to Anthony Joshua on Saturday night, who added the belt to his IBF, WBA (super) and IBO collection.

While Joshua plots another HUGE unification bout against WBC holder Deontay Wilder, it's back to the drawing board for Parker.

And, after a valiant defeat at the sold-out Principality Stadium, he's eager to return to the ring.

What's more, Team Parker are exploring the opportunity of fighting on Joshua's next undercard.

Las Vegas, Nevada, was touted to host Joshua vs. Wilder, yet, the unified-heavyweight champion has insisted he's not leaving the U.K, effectively ruling out a fight across the pond.

Wilder has expressed his willingness to travel, with Wembley Stadium an obvious choice.

Parker's promoter David Higgins is keen on landing a spot on the Joshua vs. Wilder bill.

"We saw what a big deal the Povetkin-Price fight was as the main undercard fight to Parker-Joshua, and a Joshua show has a massive audience," Higgins told the Herald via Radio Sport.

He added: "It's about leaving ego out of it."

Eyeing up August: "August would be about the right time in the UK. Joe has got respect and support in the UK now whereas previously his only market was in New Zealand."

Higgins and Hearn struck up a hilarious dynamic during the Joshua vs. Parker build-up, and he's already spoken with the Matchroom boss.

"I spoke to Eddie Hearn yesterday and he said he would be more than happy to help out with opportunities. There are options. I will talk to [American co-promoter] Bob Arum too and there is always the option of fighting in New Zealand again."
