David Haye's quest to a world title fight is going according to plan after the latest rankings by the governing bodies were revealed.

The official rankings for June see him ranked No.6 by the WBC, No.5 by the WBA, No. 3 by the IBF while the WBO have him unranked. Haye would be a lucrative voluntary shot for any of the current belt holders, yet a dangerous one though he is making inroads in three governing bodies to eventually become a mandatory challenger.

Haye has seen hyping up a potential fight with IBF champion Anthony Joshua. The Olympic gold medalist has his next assignment in Dominic Breazeale, and is expected to face mandatory foe Joseph Parker unless a unification fight comes to fruition. The Bermondsey-native was scheduled to fight Tyson Fury twice before the having to pull out with injuries, Fury has openly refused to fight Haye even if he is forced claiming he'll relinquish his titles. That leaves Deontay Wilder, WBC champion, who is set to tangle with Chris Arreola next month amid the Alexander Povetkin drug scandal.

The former unified Cruiserweight champion has successfully won his two bouts post-retirement. After returning in January against Marc de Mori where he blasted him out in the first, the 35-year-old has since seen off Arnold Gjergjaj knocking out the previously unbeaten fighter inside two rounds.

The 'Hayemaker' makes his third outing this year when he takes on American Shannon Briggs in September.
